Arrowhead Lake Association Beach Club Membership Rules
Types of Beach Club Membership: There are two (2) different types of Beach Club Memberships. The amount of dues shall from time to time be set by the Board of Directors of the Association. These membership rights and privileges are:
Single Family Membership: The holder of a single family membership shall be entitled to have one card for each member of the immediate family living at home, twelve (12) to eighteen (18) years old, such card admitting the member and one guest, with proper identification. No membership card is required for children under the age of twelve (12). Our young members are allowed one guest each and will be admitted only when accompanied by an adult member.
Group Membership: The holder of a group beach club membership shall be entitled to have two (2) cards. Each card will admit up to five (5) persons.
Children: Children under the age of twelve (12) years old may not attend beach club facilities unless accompanied by an adult. An adult is a person eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Beach Club Facilities: Beach Club facilities consist of the Burnt Mill Beach Club, the Tavern Bay Beach Club and the Grass Valley Park and facilities.
Pets, Fishing, and Boat Launching: There are no pets, fishing, or boat launching of any kind at the Beach Club. This is a designated area for swimmers and beach combers only.
Indemnifications: By accepting a Beach Club Membership, each beach club member agrees to save, defend, hold harmless and indemnify ALA against any and all damage and harm to persons and property suffered by, or asserted against ALA, as well as any and all damages, injury, claims, demands, costs, attorney's fees, expenses, liens, actions and causes of action of every kind, nature and description, whether known or unknown, for damage and harm from conduct of such beach club member or his spouse or minor children, as well as that of his guests, permitees, invitees and their spouses and minor children caused by or in any way arising from the use of real property or facilities of ALA.
Transfers: The Beach Club Membership shall terminate on March 31 of each year and shall thereafter be renewable on an annual basis.
